Penguins, manatees, sharks, seals, stringrays feature among the many animal attractions on offer, and for a unforgettable special treat, splash out on a visit to Discovery
Cove, where you can swim with the dolphins and snorkel among the tropical fish at a secluded idyllic beach.
No Disney park would be complete without some good rides for the kids to let
off steam, and Seaworld Orlando is no exception. New for 2009 is Manta,
a thrilling roller coaster where riders will travel face down, in an horizontal
position. Kraken,
the only floorless roller coaster in Orlando, is tops for thrills, while Journey
to Atlantis combines all the elements of a roller coaster with a fast and
furious water ride. The
Wild Arctic Chopper Ride is a simulated journey across the frozen north,
and for the little people, Shamu's
Happy Harbour is a real haven.
The new Waterfront area offers plenty of choice for wining and dining, and you can always finish the day with a visit to the nightly Polynesian
Luau dinner and show, featuring traditional song and dance from Hawaii.
